So pleased that you promoted creative commons approaches to images - and used my favourite FlickrCC. Nice that Peter commented, as I will check this out and edit my listing of his exceptionally friendly service.

Hi Chris, I always love to hear about how folks are using flickrCC, so it was a great start to my day to come across a mention in your post. Did you know that I have a faster version on another server? Bookmark http://flickrcc.trainingo2.net for your next dst adventure :-)

This is a very powerful story of students, their teachers and technology. It sounds to me as if you are making sure that everything is well thought through before the lessons. I can see by your images that it looks like a very well set up lab as well. Thanks for talking about VoiceThread Ed. It sounds really cool. I might check it out and give you a call if I need some help that version of the Ed section :)

I love to see the work that prople are doing on Voicethread the possiblities are just growing everyday. I think the point that you make about CC licences is excellent and that children should be taught to respect copyright in the world of cut copy and paste.

However I'm a bit nervous about conducting 'live' image searches with children - what are your thoughts on this? Do you cover that in your ICT policy?

I've had some successes too with Voicethread for writing and evaluating poetry with year 4 and transition to secondary school with year 6. I've posted about them on my blog if you're interested. www.mrkp.edublogs.org

Keep up the good work - I've added your blog to my reader too! :-)
