This sort of instant connection via twitter and Skype is pretty close to the Edublogger Pub concept I was talking about some time ago - the Skype online feature that shows who's online is great and twitter is sort of the notice board that flags when something is unfolding. Very cool technology and it's a shame that Skype is blocked in SA schools as the educational possibilities would be amazing.
